Hey! I’m a senior at Drake University studying Graphic Design and Public Relations with a minor in Magazine and Brand Media.
I’m all about the intersection of visual storytelling and strategic communication, and enjoys crafting designs that captivate readers and bringing stories to life, whether through branding, digital media, or print publications.
My Experience
Over the past few years, I’ve immersed myself in projects that span branding, marketing, and publication design. Currently, I’m a Marketing and Brand Analyst at Eco Engineers, where I lead initiatives like creating a merch store and managing our carbon emissions tracking system. It’s a role that has allowed me to bring together my skills in graphic design and brand strategy to create impactful campaigns and materials for both print and online platforms.
In addition, I work as Art Director for the Drake Political Review, where I lead a talented team of designers to produce cohesive and engaging content. It’s been a rewarding challenge to design visually compelling stories that resonate with a politically engaged audience, from social media posts to full magazine layouts. My role with Drake Magazine has also been a highlight of my time here, allowing me to work collaboratively with writers, photographers, and other designers to bring stories to life in a way that’s both visually striking and true to the publication’s unique style.
I’ve also held internships in package design and at Drake University Communications and Marketing, where I learned how to create consistent branding across various platforms, often on tight deadlines. These experiences have sharpened my design eye and given me valuable skills in maintaining brand integrity while finding creative ways to engage diverse audiences.
